Where does your hair come from?!
We pride ourselves on using only the very best, finest human ethically sourced European hair
There are different grades of human hair used within the hair extension industry, with Chinese hair being the most common type of hair found in use today...
The reason for this is simple - it's readily available in large quantities and cheap to buy. However, here @ Extreme Lengths beautiful hair is our aim; enhancing 'what your mamma gave ya!' Chinese hair is often very thick and coarse. In order to reduce the thickness and give it a softer and finer texture many hair companies expose the hair to an aggressive acid treatment to strip the cuticle layer. This chemical treatment destroys the cuticle layer, leaving the hair fragile. The hair is then coloured and covered with a silicone layer, which gives it a simulated healthy look. So to start with the hair seems shiny and beautiful, but after a few washes the silicone layer starts to wash away and the colour may fade leaving the hair looking dull and with coarse appearance.
For that reason Extreme Lengths never use Chinese hair! Instead we use the finest quality European and Remy hair which retain their cuticles and are hand processed to ensure all the cuticles are facing the same direction from root to end. This ensures that the hair does not tangle or matt.
The extension hair can be perfectly matched to your own hair with respect to colour, curl and texture. Subsequently coloured, highlighted, permed, blow-dried, flat ironed straight and curled to create any look you want yet still behave exactly like your natural hair.

Are Hair Extensions Bad For Your Hair?
All hair extension systems have pro's and con's and each method could suit a different hair type and maybe more suited to one than another.
Having said that as long as the extensions are applied by a qualifed and experienced hair extension specialist (and correctly!), and that all aftercare advise is followed by the client/s also they use the correct aftercare products, ensuring regular maintanance appointments are in place and that they are removed professionally, there should be no problems with ANY method of hair extensions damaging your natural hair!

What Type Of Hair Extensions do you do?
MicroRing & NanoRing
These are best in the market right now! Similar to pre-bonds, they are single strands, attached by a small (micro) ring. Which is clamped tightly by special pliers. The nano ring is also up to 90% smaller and less detectable than any other ring system. This is the world’s smallest micro ring hair extension system designed to provide maximum undetectability.
Once re-growth appears the single extensions can be unclamped and moved up the head (towards the root). They last approximately 10 weeks, and longer if well maintained and managed. They are installed within 3 hours!
